Barbara Kelly was launched back in 2001 and became one of the best known brands in it's field. In 2010 Multiplex Media Ltd bought the company and incorporated it within it's Sex Toys HQ project, which is now growing daily.

In 2000 the Multiplex team decided to invest in a retail outlet in the heart of Nottingham. The idea was to have the UK's largest Licence Adult Super Store. After fighting with the council for nearly 16 months they were successful on appeal in securing the licence and continue to trade today, now not officially the largest in the UK, it is still over 4,000 sqft! Fastdates was launched in 2002 as a dating web site to feature within all the Barbara Kelly magazines. Since Multiplex Media took over the Barbara Kelly brand it inherited Fastdates. In December 2009 Multiplex re launched and re designed Fastdates. This time it features 3 types of dating, Adult, Local Singles and the Over 40's. So there are now 3 web sites FASTXXXDATES, FASTDATES and FAST40DATES with over 1 million active members.

Golden Root (Herbal Viagra) is relatively new to the UK market. Multiplex Media was originally selling Golden Root through it's other online outlet's, however it was approached by a regulatory body to put it on a stand alone web site.
